Introduction

Introducing my new Adventure. Waste Not Want Not will be a documentation of my minimal waste journey. I say minimal waste rather than zero waste because I don't believe that anyone is so perfect that they produce absolutely zero waste. 

The idea of this blog is to show people what it's like to try to lower your environmental impact in the largest town and smallest county in Ireland.

This blog is not set out to be preachy it's set up to show the reality of what the average Joe soap trying to do better can do and the problems they may meet along the way. While hopefully having a bit of craic while you follow it.

I have not reached any level of perfection yet. I am very much at the beginning of this journey so I welcome your advice but please be kind in your comments and bare in mind that we all had to start somewhere.
